KC Ambush Fastpitch is a youth softball club in Kansas City. This page explains what kcambush.org collects, why, and how we protect it — especially our players’ information.
Tryout forms: the player’s name, birthdate, positions and contact details, and a parent or guardian’s name, email and phone. Only the coaches of the team applied to and club admins can see these. Tryout photos are kept in private storage.
Contact, suggestion, shop order and notification forms: what you type in, such as your name, email and message, so we can answer you.
Game alerts: if you tap 🔔 on a game page, your browser gives us a notification address for that team’s game alerts (live and final score). No name or email is attached; tap 🔔 again to stop.
Staff accounts: coaches, team moms and scorekeepers sign in with an email and password created by a club admin. There are no public accounts.
Team pages show recruiting profiles: a player’s name, photo, number, positions, graduation year, bats/throws and college commitment. A family can ask us to hide their player’s profile at any time. Birthdates, addresses and parent contacts are never public.
Live game pages and stream scoreboards show players as first name and last initial at most.
Games may be streamed publicly on a team’s YouTube channel and shown on our live game pages; a team can choose unlisted streams instead, and a team with a player whose family opted out streams unlisted by default. YouTube’s own privacy policy applies to the video. A team’s coach can connect the team channel to this site so it can find the stream that’s live and set it up: its title, description, privacy, playlist and chapters. The site never deletes videos or changes the channel itself.
We use this information only to run the club: tryouts, rosters, schedules, team communication, orders and games. We don’t sell it or use it for advertising. It is stored and sent using the services that run the site — Supabase (database and storage), Vercel (hosting) and Brevo (email) — under their security and privacy terms.
The site uses cookies only to keep staff signed in, and your browser may remember small preferences such as the game view or sound setting. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
