WE MADE US

KC Ambush fastpitch organization was created in July of 2014 by Roger Garrett, evolving from the Lady Knights program (2010-2015) into one of Kansas City's most respected fastpitch organizations.

We are an organization that prides itself on finding and developing talent in order to compete at the highest levels in the region. We're OCD when it comes to fundamentals and techniques -- and it shows in our style of play.

Since inception, the organization has accumulated numerous league and tournament championships across all age groups (8U-16UA). We invest deeply in our players within a family-type atmosphere, which is why we have very little turnover from season to season.

We're not just building softball players -- we're building confident, competitive athletes prepared to compete at the next level.

OUR JOURNEY

2010
Started as part of 'Lady Knights' playing in the Independence Girls Softball Association league (IGSA), building the foundation of fundamentals-first coaching.
2014
Officially became KC Ambush Fastpitch. The brand and culture solidified around athlete-first development.
2016
Expanded to multiple age divisions, competing at the highest regional levels across 8U through 16U.
2025
Acquired Hit & Run Training Facility, giving athletes an unlimited private access home.
2026
Expanding the organization -- actively welcoming new startup teams and established programs into the Ambush family.
